F.A.Q.’s
Q: Can I register over the phone or online?
A: Registration must be filled out online.
It will come directly to the office, will be processed in the order in which it was
received, and someone will then contact you for payment(can pay a deposit or full amount). Registration is not
secured until both form and payment have been solidified.
Q: Can I pay over the phone or online?
A: Yes, you can pay over the phone if you have a current registration on file. Online payment is available. Just click the
“Pay here” button on the home page of this website. Class enrollment must be verified with the office before paying.
Paying online does not guarantee registration without prior verification. You will need to pay immediately after
verifying registration. Otherwise, the spot may be filled.
Q: Is the deposit refundable?
A: No. The deposit holds a spot in the class that prevents another potential student from occupying.
Q: Is the deposit in addition to the class fee?
A: The deposit is part of the class fee. Class fee - deposit = remaining class fee balance.
Q: What is the make-up policy?
A:
U.G.I. allows one make-up per session if a class has or will be missed. Please call the office to schedule your
make-up within the current session. Make-ups cannot be scheduled the first week of the session. Scheduling
make-ups is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. No monetary reimbursement is available for classes not
made up.
Q: How are cancellations from inclement weather handled?
A: All make up schedules will be posted on our website along with an e-mail sent you. We typically follow Upper
Arlington School cancellations if weather based. Please visit our website for updated cancellations. Sometimes
we cancel morning classes but not evening.
Q: What if my child is unable to finish the session due to injury or illness?
A: You will receive a prorated credit toward a future class.
Q: Can a new student try a class before signing up?
A: Yes. Please call the office to schedule your child in an appropriate class. Trials are free and require a submitted
registration form in order to schedule. Trials typically cannot be scheduled during the first week of the session.
Q: Does my child need to be evaluated before starting a class?
A: Ages 5 years and under are determined by the child's date of birth. Your child must be evaluated if he/she is 6 years
or older and has had previous gymnastics experience. Evaluations may be determined by the info given to the
Director(s) or scheduled for an in person visit, if needed.
Q: Do you offer private lessons?
A: Private lessons are only available to currently enrolled students and team members. There is a gym rental fee
associated with the private lesson fee along with an instructor/coaching fee. A private lesson rents space from the gym
just the same as other related businesses do, therefore, a gym rental fee is assessed, which also covers the liability
insurance for that lesson.
